OLG are currently hiring an Accounts Assistant.

Key Duties:

The key duties of the post are as follows: –

  • Processing weekly agency and monthly payroll to BACS output with adherence to deadlines
  • Processing Supplier invoices against purchase orders, resolving queries with output to BACS for payment;
  • Processing Sub-contractor invoices with references to timesheet data to BACS output
  • Liaising with operational workers to support in the buying process.
  • Communicating with suppliers regarding queries and reconciliations
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations
  • Sales invoicing and distribution to customers
  • Processing of weekly expenses

Key Skills:

Attributes and Technical Skills

  • Payroll experience essential
  • Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Packages
  • Embraces change and has the ability to adapt to new situations and systems
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with other departments
  • Good organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work accurately to deadlines

Professional Qualifications / Relevant Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within an accounting environment
  • Or Qualified to AAT level 2;

Location:
Head Office: On Line House, Immingham.

Pay and Benefits:
Contract: One year fixed term contract.
Salary: Competitive
Company Pension Contribution: 3%
Hours: 7:30 – 4:00 Monday to Friday (30 mins lunch)
Holidays: 25 plus statutory holidays
Other Benefits: Perkbox
